Here at Westfield school we understand that parenting comes with many challenges and is a very difficult job.  We understand that what we see in school is not always the same as at home and therefore want to support parents to help overcome the challenges.

We offer a PFSA who is non judgmental and empathetic to any issues. She can help with:

  • Emotional support,
  • Ideas and support with big behaviours and dysregulation
  • Financial
  • Housing
  • Arrange and Attend meetings with you
  • Help your child to make a positive link with home and school and so that their whole system around them are working in collaboration to hold them and any of their difficulties
  • Refer to other agencies for support
  • Communicate with teachers and staff in school to help get yours and your childs voice heard.

Our current PFSA , Amy Boyce, has a wealth of experience and knowledge of child development, trauma, attachment, and internal working systems. She is trained as a Play Therapist, Theraplay trained and with a passion for supporting and enabling parents with the skills to parent as best as they can.

At Westfield we care about you as a family and understand the impact that supporting you will have on your child.
